Real Estate Institute of Tasmania president Tony Collidge he admires those that take the time to nominate their staff or office for an award.
He said most entries require detailed submissions, which can take a considerable amount of time to complete, and cover between four and six topics.
“The judging is conducted interstate to avoid any bias or prejudice,” he said.
“This year’s event was well run and enjoyed by all who attended.”
Minister for Building and Construction Guy Barnett said the Tasmanian Government was committed to supporting Tasmania’s real estate industry to continue to create clarity for buyers and sellers in the way the industry does business in Tasmania.
The event was held at the Grand Chancellor in Hobart.
A record number of entries were cast across 14 categories.
Since 2007, the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania has presented the Awards for Excellence in line with the National Awards for Excellence conducted by the Real Estate Institute of Australia to highlight the achievements of Tasmania’s real estate leaders.
