From February to April this year, my partner & I looked at many rental houses and applied for a handful.

I first met Ananda over the phone as we had a property in Tasmania and are based in Melbourne.  A lot of trust would have to be placed on the person that we chose to market the property.  She definitely fitted our expectations. My criteria for the position of selling our house in Norwood were:

My wife and I live in Melbourne and purchased a property near Launceston.   Most of the negotiation and purchase were handled between Melbourne and Ananda via phone calls and email.  A golden opportunity for logistic problems and it needed someone on the top of their game to make it all go smoothly.  Fortunately, Ananda is such a person.

In Melbourne, many Real Estate sales people are characterized by sharp practice, being economical with the truth (on occasion) and putting the need for a sale above other considerations. It was, therefore, a very pleasant surprise to deal with Ananda.

Our purchase in Tasmania is for our retirement and Ananda seemed to appreciate very early in the proceedings that we did not wish to be rushed.  We were impressed with her empathy for our position, her patience in the face of some naive questions from us and her facilitation skills.  All our queries were answered fully and promptly and where she could not respond herself, she always provided an alternate source for the information.  Her follow up was always timely and consistent.
